Body Shop Estimator Job Description The Huffines Body Shop Estimator helps ensure the overall efficacy, profitability, and reputation of our auto body shop operations by providing timely, accurate, and customer‑approved estimates for repair work.
Body Shop Estimator Responsibilities Documents estimates and the necessary repair work according to established industry standards and insurance company regulations Oversees delivery of repairs and manages customer’s expectations Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards Follows all shop policies and procedures as well as safety standards and environmental regulations Helps maintain shop appearance Performs other duties as assigned
Body Shop Estimator Requirements Three+ years of directly related experience in a large facility or dealership Fluent English speaking and written communication skills (bilingual in Spanish preferred) Commitment to delivering world‑class customer service Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written High school diploma or GED Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player Professional dress, speech, behavior, and appearance Proficiency in computer skills
