What You’ll Do Marketing & Storytelling
Help develop and execute an annual marketing plan that supports our brand, programs, fundraising, recruitment, and community engagement
Create and coordinate engaging marketing materials including videos, brochures, direct mail, presentations, newsletters, and digital content
Tell the Club’s story in a strength-based, compelling way across audiences
Promote Club programs and events through print, digital, and social media channels
Manage and update website content
Develop and manage social media strategy, calendars, and daily engagement
Visit Club locations regularly to capture content and support local marketing efforts
Track marketing metrics and analytics to measure success
Coordinate email marketing campaigns through Constant Contact
Represent BGCBLR at community events
Event Marketing
Create promotional materials for fundraising events
Support event promotion and communications
Develop event collateral such as scripts, sponsorship packages, programs, signage, and run-of-show materials
Create and manage event email campaigns
Revenue Development & Donor Marketing
Support donor stewardship efforts through newsletters, recognition materials, and campaign collateral
Create monthly donor e-newsletters and print publicationsDevelop social media content recognizing donors, sponsors, and foundations
Media Relations
Build and support relationships with local media
Pitch Club stories and expertise to media outlets
Draft press releases, talking points, and media responses
Track media coverage and maintain media lists
Collaboration & Additional Responsibilities
Work with external vendors including designers, photographers, printers, and media outlets
Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Pitch in on additional duties as needed to support the mission
What We’re Looking For Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Marketing or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or community engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Experience executing impactful marketing or PR campaigns
Proactive media relations experience
Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Experience with graphic design, video editing, Constant Contact, and marketing analytics
