The Patriot is a truly special and vibrant American Club located in the greater Tulsa area of Oklahoma. The Patriot is a tribute to our country and its heroes, along with being home to the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Club opened in 2010 and since that time has received many accolades including Best New Private course in 2012. It is currently ranked fourth best course in the state and is playing host to a Korn Ferry Finals Championship in 2026 & 2027.
The Patriot is recognized for its commitment to creating a warm, welcoming and supportive community, blending a love of golf with a spirit of patriotism and philanthropy. Our Staff really emphasizes a fun and encouraging work environment that will make you feel like family. The Golf Shop recently won a Merchandiser of the Year in the Private category of the South Central Section of the PGA.
Experience Required This position will work closely with the current Professional Staff to ensure the best possible golf experience for both members and guests. This candidate will be involved in every aspect of the daily golf operation.
Prior experience at a private club preferred, but not required.
PGA Member or Associate in good standing with the PGA or has an aspiration to become a PGA Professional
Working knowledge of golf shop and tournament software systems.
The successful candidate will be able to take on and complete tasks in a timely matter. The candidate will also possess strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and to foster relationships with both the membership and staff.
Essential Responsibilities Assist the current Professional Staff in every aspect of the golf operation including, but not limited to:
Represent The Patriot by providing exceptional service and hospitality to both members and their guests.
Tournament and league operations.
Inventory management and display creation.
Provide instruction to the membership via both individual lessons and clinics.
Promote and coordinate a successful and active junior golf program.
Maintain a working knowledge of current golf products and club fitting technologies.
Pace of play and golf course management via the tee sheet.
