## Job Description# Communications Manager* Develop and execute integrated communications strategies for AI modeling and science‑technology initiatives, including launches of AI models, datasets, software tools, and research outputs.* Build and manage media and influencer outreach strategies to strengthen credibility, visibility, and impact.* Partner with AI and science leaders to identify thought‑leadership opportunities and provide executive communications support for speaking engagements, press interactions, and other public‑facing activities.* Collaborate across teams to create or support content development related to AI research, including press releases, statements, briefing materials, blogs, social content, website copy, and other communications materials.* 10–12 years of experience in AI/technology and/or science communications; a mix of agency and in‑house experience preferred.* Experience in fast‑moving, science‑focused or technology‑driven environments.* Proven track record of producing high‑impact strategic communications plans.* Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.* Demonstrated success working with reporters and non‑traditional influencers, with examples of earned coverage.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.* Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast‑paced, matrixed environment; collaborative mindset and adaptability.*Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
