Overview of the Position Responsibilities The Marketing Operations Specialist II is an experienced marketing operations professional responsible for independently managing core operational processes, budgets, and cross‑functional workflows. This role owns day‑to‑day marketing financial operations, including budget tracking, expense reconciliation, accruals, and vendor coordination, while serving as a key liaison between Marketing, Finance, and Accounting. This position brings accounting, marketing, creativity and fun to work with them every day. The role is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

What You Will Do

Manage month‑end close activities, track monthly budget vs. actuals and partner with Finance and Accounting to help with the month‑end process.

Lead weekly budget meetings to ensure the marketing team stays on budget.

Maintain strong internal partnerships by working closely to manage monthly estimated spend per business owner and business line.

Ensure timely processing of invoices and communication of accruals for the marketing department.

Support the reconciliation of total expenses, including invoices, accruals, amortization, and prepaid items.

Identify and implement opportunities to streamline invoice submission, tracking, estimates, and reporting.

Manage the end‑to‑end creative request process for media tactics such as OOH, indoor and outdoor signage, print ads, and B2B materials – from intake, creative briefing/assigning to design partners, to final output. Experience with Monday.com or other project management tools is a plus.

Manage the internal Bluepeak Brand Central site, ensuring all materials are up‑to‑date and on brand.

Work with field teams and vendors on premium quotes and orders.

Assist in other marketing projects as needed, including but not limited to marketing offer grids, monthly marketing summaries, and competitive analysis.

Analyze market data to monitor performance of marketing activities and plans.

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant marketing/business experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong analytical skills and a passion for timelines/tasks.

Proven experience managing a large budget within a marketing organization, with a demonstrated strong understanding of accounting and budget reconciliation principles.

Highly desired team player with effective communication skills and a strong project‑management background.

Excellent organizational skills, including handling multiple demands and assignments and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.

Demonstrated ability to manage marketing projects end‑to‑end, applying marketing principles and creative development best practices.

Proven vendor management experience.

Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Salary Range: $54,000 to $78,000
