EPLAN Electrical Designer / Electrical Engineer
– Mesquite, TX We are seeking a skilled
EPLAN Electrical Designer
or
Electrical Engineer
to join our team in
Mesquite, Texas . This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in
EPLAN ,
electrical schematics , and
industrial control panel design . You’ll be responsible for creating detailed
electrical designs , managing project documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality automation and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using EPLAN
Design and layout control panels in accordance with UL 508A and other industry standards
Create and maintain BOMs, cable schedules, and terminal diagrams
Ensure designs meet applicable NFPA, NEC, and IEC standards
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project engineers to deliver integrated systems
Participate in design reviews, troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement engineering changes
Support field installation and commissioning as needed
Qualifications
Proficient in electrical design, panel layout, and schematic creation
Strong knowledge of control systems, PLC wiring, and industrial automation
Familiarity with electrical codes such as NEC, UL, and IEC standards
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in engineering teams
Preferred Skills
Experience in automated machinery, manufacturing systems, or industrial automation
Knowledge of EPLAN
3D panel design tools and EPLAN Pro Panel a plus
Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems
