Your main responsibilities As an Existing Installation (EI) Sales Account Manager at Schindler, you will cultivate relationships with customer to drive sales for elevator and escalator services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, as well as identify and pursue sales opportunities, manage existing and new customer accounts, and retain customers. You will act as a liaison between the customer and Schindler to build strong, long-term relationships and leveraging industry knowledge to achieve sales targets.
Customer Account Management: Build and manage favorable clientrelationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew serviceagreements. Handle customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolutionwith a focus on revenue generation. Meet regularly with clients tounderstand their business requirements and develop solutions to meet theneeds of their property. Manage and oversee the accounts receivable ofyour assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Communication: Communicate effectively with both customers and internalstakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives. Collaboration: Partner daily with the Field Superintendent andtechnicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customerexperience from initiation through delivery. Sales & Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue salesopportunities through key customer contacts and industry information.Qualify customer needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging companyproducts and services. Introduce new technology and associated services tocustomers, clearly illustrate the value that these products and services offercustomers. Negotiation & Strategy: Negotiate contract terms favorable tothe company while also delivering on customer requirements. Develop andimplement sales strategies that align with internal product strategies andcompetitive market conditions with minimal supervision. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare estimates and communicateproposals with customers. Maintain accurate customer records and files inaccordance with company procedures. Ensure compliance with establishedpolicies and procedures.
What you bring 2 years B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer Account Management (5-10 years): proficient in building and managing client relationships, ability to handle challenging inquiries, while ensuring satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation.
Negotiation & Strategy (5-10 years): experienced in the ability to negotiate contract terms anddevelop sales strategies that align with the customers’ needs and Schindler values and arecompliant with all regulations. Effectively, addresses and overcomes objections from clients innegotiations
Sales & Closing Skills (5-10 years): proficient in closing deals and securing agreements whenfinalizing contracts. Ability to independently identify and pursue sales opportunities, qualifyingcustomers’ needs and introducing new services and technology.
Effective communication skills are required when communicating with customers and internalstakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and the achievement of sales objectives.
Leadership (5-10 years): ability to provide guidance and expert support to more junior salesaccount managers and representatives. Proven track of collaborating with Field Superintendentsand technicians with quality improvement processes.
Effective presentation skills andproficiency in Microsoft Officeapplications
Strong communication, negotiation,objection handling and closing skills witha proven sales track record
Ability to empathize, listen and connectwith people to form outstandingcustomer relationships
Excellent time management,organizational skills, and problemsolving abilities
Motivated, resilient, and customerfocused mindset with a strong characteraligned with Schindler’s values
Experience with SAP and a resultsdriven mindset to thrive in a competitivesales environment preferred
Demonstrated Ability to handle a mix ofoffice and fieldwork, with flexibility fortravel and managing customerinteractions preferred
