The Company is in search of a Vice President for Marketing and Communications to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive, enterprise-wide strategies that align with the institution's purpose and regional promise. This role is pivotal in amplifying the company's impact and positioning it as a leader in various sectors, including higher education, research, patient care, health sciences, and athletics. The VPMC will work closely with the President, Cabinet, and Board of Trustees to embrace a refreshed and bold vision, and will be empowered to think creatively, take risks, and pursue innovative approaches to marketing and communications.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in market positioning, demand generation, and performance measurement, with a focus on connecting marketing outcomes to business results. They should be adept at audience-centric marketing, grounded in rigorous market research, and be prepared to lead the evolution of a growth-oriented marketing strategy. The role requires a leader who can differentiate the company in a competitive landscape and is committed to the values of equity, opportunity, and impact.
