The Company is seeking an Interim Emergency Medicine Director to lead the nursing and administrative operations of its 41-bed department. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day oversight, with a focus on ongoing initiatives such as throughput, reporting, and staffing. Key duties include supporting staff through mentorship, hiring, and education, as well as ensuring accountability standards and fostering a high-performance culture. The role demands an experienced and visible leader with a strong background in emergency medicine, who is also a compassionate and patient-focused individual. The Interim Director must be highly organized, able to adapt to changing needs, and possess excellent communication skills.
Applicants for the Interim Emergency Medicine Director position at the company must have a BSN, with a master's degree preferred, and an active D.C RN license. BLS and ALS certifications are also required. A minimum of 7 years of clinical nursing experience and at least 3 years of nursing management experience are necessary. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, capable of making quick decisions and leading a team through a period of transition.
