Director of Finance
Vaco is partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented organization seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Finance to lead its financial operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening financial processes, delivering actionable insights, and supporting continued operational growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, providing insight into business planning, pricing strategy, margin performance, and financial forecasting.
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly management reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and performance reporting tools.
- Oversee project‑based accounting, job costing, work‑in‑progress tracking, reconciliations, and expense management.
- Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and financial governance practices.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support growth initiatives, including pricing analysis and proposal modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- 6+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools strongly preferred.
- Manufacturing industry experience required.
Additional Information
- Competitive compensation range of $135,000 – $150,000 annually.
- Ability to go on site 4 days a week.
