
Senior Strategy Director

This role calls for a player/coach who will lead the strategy and set the ambition for 2-3 of our most important, flagship clients. They're the driving force, defining the long-term course and charting the transformative strategic agenda for their brands. As a leader, you'll cultivate senior-level client trust, driving growth through proactive, high-level thinking. You're the core strategic partner to Account, Creative and Comms leadership, ensuring our work is fearless, impactful, and designed to change culture and significantly grow our clients' businesses.
- Own the strategic product from end-to-end, participating in and supporting all day-to-day strategic output.
- Maintain deep, trusted relationships with senior-level clients, serving as a confidential and knowledgeable advisor on complex business challenges.
- Champion and evolve our Belief & Behavior Design approach across all client engagements.
- Ensure there are clear business objectives (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the work.
- Collaborate closely with Account, Creative and Comms to establish the high-level strategy and vision for clients’ brands and businesses.
- Rigorously elevate the creative brief development process, turning insights into actionable strategies that result in compelling storytelling.
- Actively lead, motivate, and mentor the entire department by demonstrating keen innovation and complex problem-solving skills, thereby elevating the strategic craft and client skills of every strategist.
- Be proactive in refining departmental talent initiatives, improving processes, and contributing to agency thought leadership.
- Take a leadership role in all major new business pitches, articulating winning strategic narratives that translate directly to measurable client success.
- Oversee and manage the strategic workflow and resourcing for the dedicated client portfolio.
- Act as an agency ambassador, representing the firm's strategic capabilities externally.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of strategy experience in successively more senior roles within a full-service advertising agency.
- Demonstrated success leading high-stakes client strategy and managing multiple large accounts simultaneously.
- A compelling writer and exceptional presenter who can turn complex data and dry insights into memorable, persuasive stories.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and deadline-driven environment.
- Proven management and mentorship skills, combined with the ability to act as a team leader, motivator, innovator, and complex problem solver.
Salary Range $130,000 - $150,000
This is a Denver based role with a 3 day in office, 2 day WFH schedule.
