What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Articulate the employer's value proposition to contracted producers through in-person, telephonic, and web-based training
Develop and maintain relationships with producers to identify client needs and drive sales
Promote the usage of the employer's platform among assigned and newly recruited producers
Document interactions and outcomes in sales management software
Coach producers on effective marketing and sales techniques to enhance sales performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
2-3 years of experience in a health insurance sales and marketing environment
Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and presentation software
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Current state insurance license preferred, with a requirement to obtain necessary certifications within 6 months of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in a health insurance environment, presenting various plan types and insurance products
Telephone sales or outbound call center experience
Understanding of individual health plans, short-term medical plans, and ancillary benefits
Certificates or designations from industry organizations such as LOMA, AHIP, or AICP
