About the Role: Seerist is looking for a high-velocity government account executive to help us grow. We are on pace to double in size this year and need motivated and determined sales professionals to reach our goals. This role will join our Seerist Federal team in the US region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience selling software-as-a-service solutions to the US Federal Government.
Responsibilities:
Identify greenfield prospects across a defined Department of War (DoW) portfolio. Develop those prospects into a pipeline and work with the revenue team to convert these prospects into net new opportunities and clients.
Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
Build your pipeline by completing lead generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches
Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, and authority
Required Qualifications:
Have a proven track record selling software (preferably a SaaS solution) to the US DoW
Ability to effectively work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from entry-level employees to C‑suite executive
Self‑motivated with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
Genuine customer empathy
Organized and strong time management skills
Excellent written & verbal communication
A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start‑up environment
A sense of urgency and persistence
Top SecretUS Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen
Based out of the DMV and able to work out of our Headquarters in Reston, VA
