Position Summary PRN Pharmacal is seeking a data‑driven, analytically minded sales leader with a collaborative approach and a strong "can‑do" mindset to lead our Central Region Outside Sales Team. This role oversees a team of 12 and serves as a key member of the Sales Leadership Team.
Central Region Sales Manager is responsible for:
Leading the Central Region PRN Sales Team to accelerate growth and expand market share within the animal health industry.
Launching new products to meet growth expectations while continuing to expand existing product lines.
Conducting field rides with Sales Representatives to provide real‑time coaching, feedback, and ongoing development support.
Driving accountability through disciplined planning, goal setting, and proactive sales management.
Developing talent and fostering a high‑performance, engaged, and results‑driven team culture.
Partnering effectively with the region's professional service veterinarian to develop business strategies and support people development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Attract, develop, evaluate, differentiate, and retain top talent through recruiting, ongoing coaching, KPI use, IDPs, and performance management tools.
Conduct field rides with sales representatives to provide coaching to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Implement, demonstrate, and coach the PBI Way model for ongoing development of the overall sales team to strengthen core capabilities and drive increased revenue.
Create business plans for assigned regions and support sales representatives on business plans for their territories through continuous coaching and feedback.
Share market insights with leadership to drive market share, product growth, product defense, and new product ideas.
Work with leaders on budget creation and periodic reforecasts, maintaining regional budget and providing timely reporting and approvals.
Develop and maintain key relationships, including distributor partners, and attend industry conferences, sales meetings, and trade shows as requested.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, animal health or related industry.
8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Collaborative, results‑oriented leader with entrepreneurial drive.
High energy, integrity, and accountability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Travel up to 75% of time.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in animal health industry sales and 3+ years of experience leading people.
Preference for candidates located near a major airport hub to support efficient travel and field engagement.
