Korean Bilingual Import Specialist
Location : Troy, MI (Onsite)
Full time role with full benefits
Salary : 55K-65K as base
One-Stop Purchasing Solution Partner
Job Summary Ensure compliance with import regulations, provide trade compliance expertise and manage daily Customs Operations
Responsibilities
Working with U.S. Customs to facilitate SERVEONE's imports and exports
Handling import scheduling, import related documentation, and weekly import settlements
Ensuring proper regulatory compliance for all international transactions
Receiving POs and managing FOB cost
Managing shipping plans, HS-CODE and country of origin
Following up for quality claims and submitting the verified documents
Completing various other tasks, as needed that might include free trade agreements, duty drawback Initiatives, internal audit functions and transaction reviews
Communicating with various external parties such as forwarders, overseas vendors, customers, carriers, and shipping companies to prepare and coordinate logistics
Requirements
1~3 years of experience in import, export, or logistics work experience
Knowledge of U.S. import regulations, including areas such as classification, valuation, free trade agreements, special import programs (anti-dumping and countervailing cases)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, complex environment
Continuous Improvement Focus; ability to articulate a problem and identify root cause.
Strong attention to detail in order to compliance with company policies and US Import Regulations.
Strong grasp of MS Office
Bachelor's degree
Bilingual ( Korean and English)
