Description
The Senior Videographer & Photographer is responsible for creating high-quality, original video and photography assets that serve as the foundation for product packaging, digital marketing, ecommerce, and brand communications across all categories. This role leads both field and studio-based production, capturing compelling still and motion content that supports shopper conversion and brand storytelling. This position includes specialized responsibility for wildlife and nature-based videography, particularly within the wild bird category, requiring expertise in planning, managing, and executing shoots in natural environments. Working in close partnership with Marketing, Commercial Operations, and creative leadership, the Senior Videographer & Photographer executes visual strategy through best-in-class production.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute complex field-based video and photography shoots, including wildlife and nature-focused content; adapt shooting techniques to environmental conditions, subject unpredictability, and seasonal factors
Manage and maintain wildlife food stations and filming locations to enable consistent, high-quality content capture; capture authentic product-in-use footage, including animals interacting naturally with products
Capture video and photography across all product categories, including lawn, controls, feed & grow, and related businesses
Execute location-based shoots that highlight product performance, usage, and benefits; partner with category designers and brand teams to ensure captured assets meet creative, functional, and technical needs
Conduct studio-based photography and video shoots when required, including product pack shots, detail imagery, and controlled demonstrations; ensure studio assets align with brand standards and downstream usage requirements
Oversee editing, color correction, and finishing of video and photography assets to ensure production quality; partner with the Video Production Designer to support editing, animation, and final delivery workflows
Ensure assets are delivered in formats optimized for at-shelf visibility, eCommerce, and digital marketing use
Maintain organized asset libraries to support reuse and accessibility; identify opportunities to improve efficiency, asset reuse, and production workflows
Qualifications
Strong portfolio showcasing product, lifestyle, and nature-focused content
Ability to manage complex shoots independently and collaboratively; strong understanding of lighting, composition, camera systems, and production workflows
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Minimum Experience
7+ years professional experience in videography and photography
Demonstrated expertise in field-based and wildlife or nature videography preferred
Experience executing both video and still photography at a professional level
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and commercial teams
