Overview KRXQ and KSEG in Sacramento are looking for a visionary leader who lives and breathes rock. This is your chance to guide two legendary Sacramento brands into the next era of rock radio and digital storytelling. The Brand Manager will lead music strategy, grow audience and revenue, elevate digital presence, and deepen community connection. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of two powerhouse stations with loyal fan bases and rich local heritage.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a talented programming and digital team.

Create and execute a clear brand vision that drives programming, digital, and promotional strategy.

Host an on‑air shift determined during the hiring process.

Recruit, coach, and support on‑air staff to maintain a high‑performing culture.

Drive station imaging and ensure visual and audio consistency across platforms.

Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to create innovative revenue opportunities.

Work closely with Audacy’s rock leadership to share best practices and elevate content.

Build signature events and community activations that strengthen visibility and listener loyalty.

Develop new ideas that grow audience across streaming, social, and emerging platforms.

Use Nielsen ratings, digital analytics, and research to guide programming decisions.

Set goals, create KPIs, and regularly evaluate performance for continuous improvement.

Ensure adherence to FCC requirements and Audacy programming standards.

Qualifications

Five or more years leading a team of passionate professionals.

Proven track record of innovation within active rock and classic rock formats.

Experience coaching and developing on‑air talent.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Background partnering with sales teams to drive revenue.

Ability to interpret Nielsen data and digital analytics.

Knowledge of the Sacramento market and competitive environment.

Strong understanding of social media and its role in building brand engagement.

A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and proof of insurance if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle.
