
The Event Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing virtual, hybrid, and remote-supported events that align with organizational goals and brand standards. This role manages event logistics, vendor coordination, attendee communication, and event execution while ensuring a high-quality participant experience. The position operates fully remotely and requires strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate virtual, hybrid, and occasionally in-person events as required
Manage event timelines, deliverables, logistics, and communication plans
Coordinate with vendors, speakers, sponsors, and internal stakeholders
Support event registration processes, attendee communication, and engagement activities
Assist with event budgeting, tracking expenses, and vendor contracts
Prepare event materials, agendas, and briefing documents
Oversee event setup and live execution, including troubleshooting issues
Track and report event performance metrics and attendee feedback
Maintain event documentation and post-event summaries
Support continuous improvement of event processes and attendee experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
2–4 years of experience
in event planning, coordination, or program support
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience with virtual event platforms and collaboration tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines
Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with corporate, marketing, or professional events
Familiarity with event software such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms
Experience coordinating webinars or virtual conferences
Knowledge of event budgeting and vendor negotiations
Prior experience supporting remote teams or distributed events
