Job Title: Business Development Representative II – SMB Payments
Location:
Plano, TX- ONSITE
Duration:
6-Month Contract to Perm
Pay Rate:
$53/hr (W2)
About the Role Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering innovative payment solutions and building strong client relationships? Join the Chase Small Business (SMB) Sales Channel as a
Business Development Representative II , where you will drive new Merchant Services opportunities and support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses.
In this role, you will identify, source, and close new merchant agreements while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless, client-first payment solutions. You will play a critical role in helping clients start, run, and grow their businesses while meeting individual monthly and annual production goals.

Key Responsibilities
Cultivate new business opportunities within an assigned Business Banking portfolio to achieve individual sales goals
Identify and self-source client opportunities through referral networks and centers of influence (COIs)
Serve as a trusted advisor by recommending tailored banking and payment processing solutions
Conduct outbound calls to prospects, COIs, and existing clients within a remote, hub-based model
Analyze and competitively price products and services to ensure profitability
Maintain detailed electronic sales records and prepare required sales reports
Negotiate customized pricing models and close merchant agreements
Partner with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and product ramp-up
Follow sound risk management protocols and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Credit, Risk, and Quality Control to adhere to AML/KYC guidelines
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of the merchant services industry, payment products, and financial concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and internal partner relationships
Strong judgment in delivering customized solutions that align with client needs and firm risk standards
Ability to balance client objectives with regulatory and firm requirements
Strong time management skills with a disciplined sales process
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent B2B sales/relationship management experience
Minimum 5 years of business development experience
Bilingual Korean and English
