A leading technology solutions firm is looking for a Strategic Sales Executive to join its team. The client, which has been operating for over 15 years, has experienced exceptional growth, with a 400% revenue increase in the past four years. This remote role requires about 30% overnight travel for client meetings. The position offers an attractive compensation package, including an industry-leading base salary between $150k and $200k, uncapped commission potential with an expected first-year earnings of $450k to $550k, and additional bonuses. The ideal candidate should reside in the Chicago area and have over five years of current B2B sales experience targeting US clients in the healthcare or financial sectors. They should possess over four years of experience in large enterprise client sales and acquisitions, in addition to three years in IT/software sales and selling staff or team extension services. A thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) terminology and methodologies is required, as is experience working with early-stage software companies. The candidate must demonstrate a proven record in pursuing new clients without leads and closing a high percentage of inbound leads. Excellent social skills and a passion for networking and face-to-face meetings with prospects are also necessary. Candidates with a background in custom software development, AI, and data science, UX/UI design, and cloud services will have an advantage. Prior experience with multinational distributed teams is also preferred. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with the ability to present effectively to various management levels within potential client companies, including C-level executives, product management, and IT professionals.
