The Sr. Inside Sales Rep is responsible for driving revenue growth through a combination of direct sales and strategic prospecting within a defined territory. This role focuses on both acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. The role includes managing the full sales cycle, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize outreach strategies and close deals. What You'll Do: Identify and qualify business opportunities through marketing-generated leads, outbound campaigns, and ABS (Account Based Strategy) tools. Initiate telephone and email outreach to build relationships, uncover needs, and position Fortra's software solutions. Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, solution positioning, demo coordination, trial management, and closing. Provide multi-brand, cross-sell referrals and support upsell opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging, campaign strategy, and reporting. Mentor newly promoted Inside Sales Representatives, offering guidance on prospecting techniques, processes, and team integration. Serve as a resource for new ideas on prospecting, process improvements, and sales efficiencies. Communicate customer demand and market trends to internal stakeholders. Document all customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system. Actively manage a strong sales pipeline while aligning with sales goals and timelines for accurate forecasting. Attend tradeshows and industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness. Achieve annual quota in alignment with company goals. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, sales, or marketing. Minimum of one year of Sales or Business Development experience; technology/software sales preferred. Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and contribute to team development. High degree of customer focus and relationship orientation. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting metrics. Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and corporate objectives.
