Summer Camp Assistant Director

The Summer Camp Assistant Director plays a key leadership role in creating a fun, safe, and well-organized summer camp experience for children ages 612. Working closely with the Summer Camp Director, this position supports daily operations, helps guide staff, assists with activity planning, and ensures strong communication with familiesall while helping campers have an unforgettable summer. Summary of Responsibilities

Support daily operations of the assigned summer camp site Assist with planning and leading engaging recreational activities Help train, supervise, and support Summer Camp Leaders and volunteers Maintain positive communication with campers, parents, staff, and the public Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming camp environment Ensure compliance with safety policies, child supervision standards, and best practices Assist with documentation, scheduling, payroll submissions, and program reports Help manage supplies, equipment, and approved program purchases Maintain cleanliness and organization of program spaces Communicate regularly with the Summer Camp Director regarding staffing, participants, and program needs Why Work With Us?
