Primary Function
The Graphic Designer – Games Packaging (mid-level) is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing visually compelling packaging and print materials that elevate the client's gaming products and support brand consistency. This role transforms strategic insights into impactful visual solutions, ensuring that all packaging and game component artwork aligns with brand guidelines, licensor requirements, and production standards.

Contract Dates: 3/13/26 - 3/12/27
Max Pay Rate: $29.80
Hybrid schedule - Pawtucket, RI

Duties & Responsibilities
Design packaging, in‑game components, rulebooks, and print collateral for gaming products.
Develop layouts, typography, iconography, and graphic systems that communicate gameplay and support brand messaging.
Prepare accurate production files, including dielines and prepress deliverables.
Ensure all work meets licensor, legal, accessibility, and cost constraints.
Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Design & Development to translate strategy into effective visuals.
Participate in reviews, iterate based on feedback, and maintain high creative standards.
Coordinate with vendors and production partners to ensure technical accuracy.
Manage multiple projects and maintain organized, consistent file structures.

Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong understanding of print production and packaging workflows.
Excellent layout, typography, and visual communication skills.
Clear communicator with strong organization and attention to detail.
Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in packaging or consumer product design.
Experience with licensed brands is a plus.
Portfolio demonstrating packaging work and print‑ready production required.
