Job Description
The Architectural Drafter is responsible for handling all aspects of producing the architectural and production drawings for modular homes. Knowledge of residential codes preferred. Position is in-office, Monday-Friday. Hours required will be 45 hours a week, this is an hourly position (paid OT for any hours over 40). Pre-employment drug screen. Core Responsibilities
Prepare detailed architectural drawings including foundation plans, floor plans, elevations, electrical/HVAC/plumbing layout, cross sections, etc. Prepare detailed drawings for shop floor production showing deck layout, wall framing detail, truss layout, etc. Qualifications Required
Proficient with AutoCAD Architectural drafting software Knowledge of residential construction practices, modular home building a plus Knowledge of residential building codes Self-starter with ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiently Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills. Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and attention to detail.
