Job Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our in-office team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in bringing modular home designs to life by producing high-quality architectural and production drawings. If you have a passion for residential architecture and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to projects that make a real impact on families and communities. Familiarity with residential codes is a plus.
This is a full-time, in-office position (Monday through Friday), offering 45 hours per week with overtime pay for any hours above 40. All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
Core Responsibilities
Create comprehensive architectural drawings, including foundation and floor plans, elevations, and detailed layouts for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as cross sections and related documents.
Develop precise production drawings covering deck layouts, wall framing details, truss configurations, and additional essential building components.
Qualifications Required
Proficiency with AutoCAD architectural drafting software is a must.
Solid understanding of residential construction practices; experience in modular home building is highly desirable.
Familiarity with residential building codes.
Self-motivated and able to manage assignments efficiently and on schedule.
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
