The New York office of Reed Smith is seeking a Mid‑Level to Senior associate to join the Advertising group. Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of experience in advertising and marketing law, trademark, copyright, and right of publicity laws, review and negotiation of emerging technology, privacy, and other advertising‑adjacent agreements. Candidates should also have experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various transactional agreements within the advertising and marketing ecosystem, including agency‑client creative services and media buying agreements, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, social media influencer agreements, and promotional terms and conditions, including for sweepstakes, contests and loyalty programs as well as researching, analyzing, and providing strategic counsel to clients on compliance matters related to claim substantiation, advertising, marketing, promotions, and social media. Candidates must be an active member of the New York bar.
$265,000 - $390,000. This represents the presently‑anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
