The Senior Sales Manager – Luxury & Corporate is responsible for driving revenue within the business transient and luxury leisure segments. This role manages key corporate negotiated and luxury consortia accounts while collaborating with Revenue and Marketing to optimize ADR, RevPAR, and overall market share. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, analytical, and proactive in identifying new business opportunities within the New York City market.

Qualifications Experience & Qualifications

Minimum2 years of experience managing the Luxury Consortia marketin New York City

Minimum1 year of experience managing Luxury Leisure and/or Corporate Negotiated accounts

Experience relationships within luxury travel networks including but not limited to:

American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts

Virtuoso

Signature Travel

Chase The Edit

Internova

Strong understanding of the RFP process, transient sales cycles, and NYC market trends

Experience utilizing business intelligence tools such as Agency360, Demand360, STR, and Lanyon

Proven ability to grow account production and drive revenue performance

Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

Ability to travel for client meetings, sales missions, and tradeshows as needed

Essential Job Functions

Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate negotiated and luxury consortia accounts

Develop targeted sales strategies to increase business travel and luxury leisure production

Identify and secure new business through prospecting, networking, and industry events

Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing to align pricing, promotions, and positioning strategies

Monitor account performance, segment contribution, and pace to budget

Utilize Agency360, Demand360, STR, and internal reporting tools to analyze trends and identify opportunities

Maintain strong relationships with travel advisors, corporate travel managers, and key decision makers

Represent the hotel at industry events and sales trips within assigned territories

Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to the Director of Sales & Marketing

Support annual business planning and transient RFP submissions

Maintain interdepartmental communication to ensure seamless execution of client expectations

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of typing and computer work

Occasional bending, reaching, and movement throughout the hotel
