SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with distributor sales representative. Work independently as well as with District Managers to increase their sales and productivity. Territory will include Albany region, Capital Region and Vermont. Ideal candidate will live in Albany, NY
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
Manage expectations of brand standards.
Conduct sales meetings, rallies and brand launches.
Manage local Point-of-Sale (POS) rooms and monitor inventory.
Schedule and participate in regular “work-withs”.
Increase consumer awareness by building displays and executing POS in existing large and small format accounts.
Sell in displays, racks, end caps, glide racks, barrels and cooler equipment for incremental points of interruption.
Continually place POS materials that capture retailer and consumer attention.
Gain incremental Arizona space by utilizing brand functionality and category profit sell story.
Manage rotation and inventory control at retailer level.
Set up retail sampling events to drive consumer awareness and gain incremental space.
Reset store shelving, as needed.
New Account Prospecting; i.e., establish working knowledge of area’s potential new account base and cold call on new accounts selling in Arizona’s category profit story.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Proven successes in delivering sales goals and objective
Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts
Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, time management and presentation skills required
Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements
In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
Detail oriented, self-starter, multi-tasker
Ability to adapt quickly and effortlessly with change
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and problem solve
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must reside in location of position
Solid experience in sales and customer service
Ability to lead and motivate team members
Availability to travel, as needed
BS Degree preferred
