Healthcare Designer
to join our Phoenix-based team! This is an opportunity to lead impactful design projects while mentoring others and shaping the future of healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design process, including programming, space planning, product specifications, and client engagement
Mentor members of the Healthcare Design team
Collaborate cross-functionally to share healthcare knowledge and improve project outcomes
Coordinate learning opportunities and training sessions with our Showroom Experience Lead
Conduct trainings on healthcare furniture products and applications
Experience and Qualifications
10+ years of design industry experience
5+ years of healthcare-specific design experience
Proven experience leading training sessions on healthcare products
Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field
Strong product and technical knowledge of major contract furniture manufacturers
Essential Functions
Solve problems and deliver client-appropriate solutions to win and retain business
Gather programming requirements, develop conceptual designs, and block plans
Conduct field verifications for existing or new building conditions
Draft and modify base plans using AutoCAD
Prepare installation drawings aligned with order entry timelines
Ensure plans and specifications meet client needs and ensure implementation quality
Lead client meetings and project presentations independently, including RFP situations
Track and record billable time for projects
Maintain high-quality internal and external communication
Support corporate objectives such as customer satisfaction, project success, and operational efficiency
