Marketing Manager
to support large-scale seasonal marketing initiatives within a high-visibility retail marketing organization in
Santa Monica, CA . In this
8-month contract
role, you will help plan, execute, and optimize major customer-facing campaigns — including peak holiday events — while partnering cross-functionally across marketing, merchandising, product, and technical teams. This position is ideal for a data-driven marketer who thrives in ambiguous environments and excels at stakeholder alignment, program management, and performance analysis. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience operating within a large, complex enterprise environment while influencing initiatives that reach millions of customers.
This Position Will Own the Following Tasks:
Develop and execute mid-funnel and lower-funnel traffic strategies for major seasonal events
Program manage cross-functional workstreams and leadership syncs, including agenda development and stakeholder coordination
Serve as a liaison between marketing, product, merchandising, and technical teams
Translate product and business needs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
Support go-to-market narratives and presentations for leadership alignment
Monitor retail trends, competitor activity, and consumer sentiment across digital channels
Coordinate with site merchandisers to ensure timely launch of creative assets
Conduct quality assurance reviews of live onsite experiences ("walk the store")
Analyze campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities against key KPIs
Track issues across teams and drive resolution during live events
Identify process improvements and efficiencies across campaign workstreams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
4+ years of marketing, merchandising, or program management experience
Strong data analysis skills and ability to derive insights from performance metrics
Experience translating business needs into formal documentation (e.g., BRDs)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
