
Intermediate Interior Designer - Luxury Residential

Our client is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join their vibrant New York studio. As part of a collaborative, design-focused team of 25, you will contribute to high‑end, international projects, participating in every stage of the design process.
In this hands‑on role, you will take responsibility for project execution from start to finish under the guidance of a senior designer. You will assist in project coordination, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and highly supportive, with the flexibility and dedication to help the team deliver exceptional work. This position is suited for designers with 3–5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Providing direct support on all project‑related tasks
Sourcing finish samples and assisting in the development of finish palettes
Generating project ideation as requested by the Design Director and Senior Project Manager
Requesting quotes, invoices, and receipts as needed
Creating proposals for merchandise and furnishings
Reviewing CFAs, shop drawings, and conducting physical inspections under guidance
Sourcing furniture and fixtures for various projects
Monitoring order tracking and maintaining up‑to‑date project information
Attending site visits and organizing client/project notes
Creating and revising floor plans using AutoCAD and/or SketchUp
Assisting in file management for project materials
Supporting the development of client presentation decks
Coordinating final furniture installations under the Senior Project Manager’s direction
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Studio Designer, and Photoshop
Strong knowledge of Google Suite
Clear and professional communication skills, both internally and externally
