Busines Development (Sales Lead) | Media & Publishing
Comp: $100-$125K (flexible) base + Commision
Location: Ideally New York - open for right candidate
Must have experience selling SaaS or AI solutions to media publishers, ideally subscription-based, with a strong understanding of both their commercial and operational challenges. This is an early-stage role offering real influence and a clear path to senior commercial leadership as the business scales globally.

They are hiring a senior commercial leader to take the platform to market. This is not just a sales role. It is ownership of go to market strategy, revenue build, partnerships, and long term commercial architecture.
What You’ll Own
Define and execute go to market strategy across publishing and media
Identify ICP, buyer personas, pricing, and commercial models
Own full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close
Sell consultative, complex SaaS solutions to C suite and senior editorial leaders
Build strategic partnerships across the media ecosystem
Establish repeatable sales process, metrics, and tooling
Play a key role in building and mentoring the future sales team
What They’re Looking For
5+ years selling B2B technology into publishers or media organisations
Proven ability to close complex enterprise or mid market SaaS dealsi>
Strong grasp of subscription economics, recurring revenue, churn, and LTV dynamics
Experience operating in an early stage or scaling environment
Strategic thinker who can shape positioning while executing deals
