Our paid internship program provides valuable practical experience to enhance both your academic and professional career. As an intern, you will work within our design, development, research, and manufacturing engineering teams on impactful projects. This 3-4 month, project-based program is open to junior, senior, and post-graduate students who are passionate about medical technology and UX design.

Responsibilities
Create wireframes, mock-ups, and hi-fidelity, interactive prototypes.
Facilitate and participate in design critiques with fellow team members.
Work alongside usability team members to assist with planning and conducting user testing / usability studies.
Present findings from studies to cross-functional development teams.
Requirements
Motivated individual working towards B.S. or certificate in UX Design, HCI, Human Factors, Usability or similar fields.
Proficiency in Figma for use in wireframing, prototyping, and component creation.
Strong communication skills including both verbal and written.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting while also excelling in independent work.
Must have current U.S. work authorization. MSEI does not sponsor work authorization for summer intern positions. Applicants requiring future sponsorship (e.g., E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN visas) now or in the future are not eligible.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
The employee is also required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time and communicate with co-workers.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours / week.
Salary Range
$24-$32/hr (dependent on qualifications and experience)
