
Receiving Clerk/Customer Service Representative

Leading manufacturer is seeking to fill the Receiving Clerk/Customer Service Representative position for its Huger, SC single-site steel coil processing plant. This is a receiving/customer service position where the employee performs diversified clerical and administrative duties.
Position prerequisites: • High school diploma/GED required • Minimum two (2) years experience preferred; or Equivalent combination of education and experience. • Previous data entry/customer service experience a plus • Must be detail oriented standard verbal/written communication skills to interact with line workers, supervisors and managerial/adminstrative personnel
The right person: • Possess dependability to be consistently at work and on time • Possess working knowledge of filing methods, business English, spelling and arithmetic with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Possess working knowledge and/or skill in word processing, spread sheets and other computer applications relevant to billing processing and administrative support • Possess a "Team" mentality with ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Possess good time management skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paces environment • Possess ability to process, maintain and disburse confidential and sensitive information • Possess close visual acuity, near/far vision and upper limb coordination • Possess ability to sit for extended periods during normal phase duties • Possess light/medium (5-20 lbs.) lifting capabilities during normal phase duties
