About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for NIL Partnerships and Revenue. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating revenue on behalf of the organization, with a focus on commercial NIL partnership agreements. This role involves working closely with the staff of the company and the athletic department to develop and execute revenue strategies, lead specialty revenue concepts, and drive revenue-generating events. The Executive Director will be responsible for identifying potential sponsors, maintaining knowledge of the college events landscape, and managing profit and loss to meet budget goals. Additionally, the role requires the ability to build and lead a team, evaluate the organization's success, and create sales proposals and contracts with NIL sponsors.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for NC State alumni or former student-athletes, and at least 5 years of experience in corporate sponsorship sales, sports marketing, or related fields. A strong understanding of NIL in the collegiate athletics space is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships, strong sales and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. An entrepreneurial mindset, integrity, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and travel, are also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is required.
