
Senior D365 Business Analyst – ERP (Finance & Operations)
Position Overview
EVERSANA is seeking a
Senior D365 Business Analyst
to serve as a functional leader for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) ERP platform.
This role balances day-to-day ERP operational support with strategic initiatives such as upgrades, testing, functional design, and continuous improvement across Finance, Supply Chain, and operational processes.
Business Partnership & Functional Leadership
Act as primary functional advisor to Finance, Supply Chain, and operational stakeholders.
Lead requirements discovery, solution workshops, and design reviews.
Translate business needs into functional design documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Provide guidance on D365 best practices.
Functional Solution Design & Configuration
Own functional design across D365 F&O modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management & Accounting.
Configure D365 to support business processes while minimizing customization.
Define specifications for integrations, workflows, reports, and extensions.
Collaborate with developers and implementation partners.
Day-to-Day ERP Support
Provide senior functional support including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
Serve as escalation point for complex production issues.
Support critical cycles such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Upgrades & Release Management
Lead planning for platform upgrades, hotfixes, and feature releases.
Coordinate regression testing and release readiness.
Review release notes and validate feature enablement.
Testing & UAT Coordination
Define functional testing strategy across SIT, regression testing, and UAT.
Coordinate UAT execution and defect triage.
Ensure coverage of critical business processes and obtain business sign-off.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
Support change management and user readiness.
Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
Data, Reporting & Controls
Define KPIs and reporting requirements with reporting teams.
Support reconciliations and data validation.
Ensure data integrity across integrations and reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of ERP Business / Functional Analyst experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Proven experience leading ERP upgrades, testing, and UAT.
Experience supporting live production ERP environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
