
Sales & Operations Lead – Austin, TX
Full-Time | Austin-based | $120-150K + Equity + Commission The Mission
Glīd is rebuilding American logistics infrastructure through autonomous road-to-rail technology. We need an operator in Austin who can hunt deals, win government contracts, and execute field operations. You’ll build our Texas commercial pipeline, capture $2‑5M in defense funding (SBIR/STTR), and manage customer deployments from demo to delivery. This is the whole stack — prospecting, closing, and operational execution. What You’ll Do
Lead SBIR/STTR capture and write winning proposals Close commercial contracts with railroads, 3PLs, and industrial operators Execute field demos and customer pilots across Texas Build relationships with DoD innovation units and Texas economic development Provide hands‑on technical support for vehicle deployments Who You Are
SBIR/STTR experience
and sales/BD track record Mechanically inclined
and comfortable with operational troubleshooting Mission‑aligned
– you believe in American manufacturing and resilient infrastructure Veteran strongly preferred
(any branch, logistics/ops backgrounds especially relevant) Austin‑based or willing to relocate Why It Matters
