Definition
The Marketing, and Business Development Speciaist is responsible to support the promotion and growth of Renewal, Inc. programs and services. This position plays a key role in strengthening Renewal's brand, enhancing internal and external communications, supporting recruitment efforts, and assisting with business development initiatives. This individual will assist with organizing and promoting special events and fundraising for the organization and will represent Renewal, Inc. at various community events. This person will assist the VP of HR, Marketing and Development in the development and maintenance of the website, utilizing public relations practices to further the strategic objectives of the organization, including the Annual Report, marketing brochures, a quarterly newsletter and all appropriate and professionally accepted social media resources. This individual will work with the VP of HR, Marketing and Development and identified teams to assist in the writing of proposals, and grants.. The Marketing and Business Development Specialist with will work closely with Renewal's Executive Assistant to maintain a program of planned giving for donors and donor database (Giftworks, funders, and foundations). This individual will help develop a communications strategy to assist in promoting Renewal's programs and services.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual in this role should have outstanding organizational written and oral communication skills.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field, and 3 years of related experience is required. Experience working in a non-profit setting is strong preferred.
