Standard 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexible: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM option)
Pay Rate:
$30–$38/hour (W2)
Position Overview The Analyst, Domestic Theatrical Billings & Collections is responsible for high-volume billing and cash application activities, ensuring timely revenue recognition and collections.
This role works closely with Distribution, Sales, Treasury, and Exhibitors to manage A/R balances, research discrepancies, and improve process efficiencies. The position requires strong analytical skills, comfort working in multiple systems, and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
Review sales terms and billing accuracy
Perform high-volume daily cash application
Apply cash receipts within 2 days of receipt
Review and reconcile A/R balances post-cash application
Research discrepancies and resolve open A/R balances
Send statements to exhibitors and follow up on delinquent accounts
Validate and manage incoming wires
Run aging reports and provide monthly updates on A/R status
Notify management of delinquent or at-risk accounts
Support box office collections and data entry as needed
Assist with audit documentation requests
Collaborate on business process improvements and system enhancements
Provide backup coverage for team members
Top Critical Skills / Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
4+ years of Credit, Collections, or A/R experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (intermediate to advanced preferred)
Experience in a multi-location organization
Experience in media billing or sales systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and integrity with confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP and/or Oracle E1 (strongly preferred)
Experience in Entertainment/Media industry (nice to have)
