We are seeking a Member Solutions and Loss Mitigation Manager for the Central Region Member Solutions Department.
The Member Solutions and Loss Mitigation Manager is accountable for ensuring that collection and loss mitigation efforts include root cause analysis of delinquent loans, and as appropriate or required, assistance via loss mitigation tools is offered. The role is accountable for ensuring that the most expedient and cost‑effective resolution is achieved for accounts in legal, bankruptcy, foreclosure or REO status. The Manager is also responsible for developing effective procedures that support policy, quality standards and regulatory requirements and for ensuring compliance with the approved policies and procedures for the Member Solutions and loss mitigation department.
Highlights
Effectively communicate output and service level expectations to subordinates and monitor results.
Provide subordinates with the minimum authority needed to fulfill their accountabilities.
Track and monitor to ensure deficiency balances are actively pursued.
Build an effective team that collaborates with underwriting, quality control, sales, and loan processing.
Respond timely to requests that fall outside written policy and procedure and escalat[e] accordingly.
Develop and communicate output and service level expectations to subordinates and monitor results.
Experience Required
5+ years of direct or indirect lending experience in collections, loss mitigation in real estate, manufactured housing, automobile and/or consumer finance industry.
2+ years of remarketing and/or asset disposal experience.
2+ years of management experience.
Preferred
2+ years of direct or indirect underwriting experience in real estate, manufactured housing, automobile and/or consumer finance.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent work experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Registration as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
Skills & Knowledge
Computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
Detail‑oriented.
Strong math and analytical skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently to solve complex problems.
Ability to manage, supervise, and lead others to achieve desired results.
Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 am‑5:30 pm
Salary Range $75,987 to $82,412 annually. There is a 7 ½% bonus potential.
Flexibility In office, on site; not remote or hybrid.
