KPMG is excited to hire a Senior Data Protection Lead for our Managed Services practice.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to design, implement, and manage innovative technology and process solutions that reduce data compromise risks, develop technical requirements, assess vendor solutions, and test data protection measures. Guide clients in anticipating future cyber security challenges, working together to enhance their security capabilities. Support clients in creating robust data protection measures for both data at rest and in motion, including the development and testing of data loss prevention policies. Contribute to KPMG's thought leadership initiatives, staying well-informed on the latest industry trends related to cyber risks and data protection. Assist in managing engagement financials and provide mentorship to junior team members. Lead client interactions, serving as a trusted technical subject matter expert. A minimum of three years in data protection or data loss prevention, demonstrating expertise in the field. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Proven expertise in at least three of the following areas: data discovery, classification, tagging, data loss prevention, secure messaging/email encryption, mobile device security, Public Key Infrastructure, Data Rights Management, secure information storage, CDMC framework. Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention and Data Discovery solutions like Microsoft AIP/MIP, Zscaler, BigID, Dataguise, OneTrust, and Informatica EDC. Knowledge of Insider Threat and User Behavior Analytics. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance concerning privacy and data protection, such as PCI DSS, GLBA, Basel II, and U.S. State Data Privacy Laws. A willingness to travel and thrive in a dynamic environment while embracing new technologies. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship.
