Summary: As a Sales Specialist, you will ensure alignment between internal operations and customer requirements through efficient planning, communication, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate challenges, manage customer relationships, and drive execution across departments to support business goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and tracking of daily, weekly, and monthly sales and shipment plans

Using ERP systems (such as SAP) to help manage and update sales-related data

Support communication between internal teams and external partners regarding shipment schedules

Identify and report and potential risks to sales targets such as changes in demand and supply issues

Contribute to sales forecasting activities and helping gather data for strategic planning

Monitor account receivables and supporting alignment with the customer’s payment schedules

Assist with the entry and verification of sales transactions in both internal and customer systems

Supporting reconciliation efforts for any discrepancies between internal and customer records

Collaborate with finance and sales teams to help avoid payment-related shipment delays

Participate in regular communications with OEM customers and company headquarters

Assist in the planning and organization of customer meetings and follow-up actions

Support cross-functional coordination across engineering, purchasing, planning, and production teams

Help track potential risks or cost impacts such as expedited shipping or inventory concerns

Learning to navigate and update customer supplier portals (financials, EDI, engineering changes, etc.)

Supporting program timelines and helping ensure milestones are met, including supplier and production readiness

Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain

Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience

Experience:

0 to 6+ years’ experience with sales market experience ideally in the automotive industry

Program management experience in automotive industry is preferred (e.g. PPAP, Engineering Change, etc.)

Skills:

MS Office Suite and excellent knowledge of MS Excel

Attention to detail and data validation abilities
