Account Manager

is ultimately responsible for exceeding customer expectations and year-over-year growth on all of their accounts. Builds relationships, maintains customer satisfaction, and promotes MultiTech Industries to current and prospective Customers. Develops new methods, processes and systems to promote operational efficiency and company growth. Key Responsibilities

Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization's products and services. Direct liaison between Customer and MTI regarding requirements, conditions and issues. Direct liaison between MTI corporate, plants, and suppliers regarding quotations, new projects, issues, requirements, and concerns. Understands and responds to customer requirements through frequent status updates on both delivery and quality status by interfacing with manufacturing. Understands and supports established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective customer service. Processes sales contracts, prints, quote sheets, and related documentation on awarded business. Works cross functionally with accounting and finance to qualify potential customers and assist with escalated payable issues. Develops annual sales forecast by customer with regular reconciliation to actuals. Develops and implements strategies to expand customer base into targeted markets. Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for customer RFQ’s. Secures orders through follow up, negotiation and demonstration of personal initiative and elements of cross functional leadership. Participates in APQP activities, overall timing plans and inputs (voice of customer) Reports on company level data for inclusion in management review meetings. Qualifications

Between 1-3 years prior experience in Sales or Customer Service, preferably in manufacturing or distribution. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems. Ability to interface with customers. General understanding of quality systems and product quoting. Detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated. This is an on-site role expected to be in the office during normal business hours. Potential remote work flexibility will be based on job performance, business needs, and approval. The Account Manager position has the typical physical requirements of working in an office setting. Travel not to exceed 5-10%.
