Summary Qualified candidates for this position will provide customer service support such as order entry/management, pricing, product availability, customer returns, and backlog reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide customer support for a specific sales territory and/or collection of key accounts.

Primary customer contact for order management and sales inquiries

Generate quotes, assist where appropriate with product recommendations.

Complete PO/Contract review for all orders.

Work with other TMS functions to manage customer requests, expedite and/or recover late orders.

Manage expectations with customers on product lead times, delivery requests, and product availability.

Review, enter and acknowledge purchase orders.

Update open order reports and provide to accounts as requested.

Manage customer portals.

Investigate and process customer returns.

Respond to customer requests for documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in sales and/or customer service

Highly organized and personable

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Promote team atmosphere.

Familiar with ERP systems – preferably Oracle

Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
