
Summary
Times Microwave Systems is currently recruiting a
Distribution Sales Specialist:
Responsible for sales support and relationship development for the Distribution business; including but not limited to quotes, pricing, reporting, data analytics, marketing, digital advertising, strategic planning, and program management. Position reports to Distribution Account Manager.
Responsibilities
Support the Distribution business with quoting, program management, product support, reporting, marketing, sales, trade shows, training events, and presentations both internal and external.
Manage Point of Sale reporting with Representatives, Distribution and Sales; Analyze data and strategic sales opportunities for growth, relationship, and market development.
Take charge and lead in addressing problems, opportunities and other "hot spots" in a quick, decisive, and effective manner to support Distribution sales and strategic growth.
Manage development projects for distributors & product management. This includes coordinating with Sales and Customer Service, Engineering, Operations, and other internal and external teams.
Working with Sales and Marketing to develop sales tools as well as training sales, reps, and distribution channels on new products.
Develop business opportunities together with Sales and Product Management; NPI promotion.
Participate in, planning, and training at regular distribution meetings and trade shows, both virtually and in person.
Sales and marketing development and support directly with Distribution including digital marketing development and support, advertising and co-op planning and product support.
Travel 25% to customer sites as needed.
Qualifications
BS in Business, Marketing, and/or Engineering
Experience in sales, distribution, or manufacturing environments with commercial business knowledge considered a plus.
Experience with RF interconnect products, coaxial cable &/or related products preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated analytical capability to translate data into actionable insights and well-supported conclusions, with Power BI and database experience required.
Extremely well-organized with superior attention to detail.
Organized, forward-thinking, and highly motivated with strong business acumen and relationship-building skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiar with RF Interconnect products, coaxial cables, related components, and specification/blueprint reading, including materials and process specifications.
Effective communicator with excellent presentation skills.
Skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and supporting distributor partners to drive success.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
