The Visual Media & Design Manager serves as the production engine of the Marketing Department, translating strategy into high-impact visual execution across retail, mission services, and enterprise initiatives. This mid-level maker role leads environmental graphics, campaign creative, print production, video storytelling, and digital assets. Operating independently without daily project management oversight, this role is trusted to prioritize work, manage production workflows, and deliver polished, production-ready creative that elevates brand perception and supports revenue and mission growth.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Production, Visual Communications, or related field
3–4+ years of professional experience in design and/or video production
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
Demonstrated experience in print production, environmental graphics, and digital video editing
Portfolio demonstrating campaign-level thinking and production-ready execution
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
Strong understanding of print specifications and vendor-ready file preparation
Experience coordinating with printers, fabricators, and production vendors
Skilled in planning, shooting, and editing video for social-first platforms
Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently without project management oversight
Strong organizational skills and asset management discipline
High level of aesthetic judgment and brand consistency
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to troubleshoot production challenges and problem-solve in real time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Design in-store signage and environmental graphics across retail and mission spaces
Produce integrated campaign creative across print, digital, and social channels
Prepare production-ready files to vendor specifications
Coordinate fabrication timelines and installation needs
Video & Multimedia Production (30%)
Plan, shoot, and edit video content for:
Store openings
Workforce development stories
Campaign launches
Social media platforms
Adapt content rapidly across formats and aspect ratios
Maintain organized video archive and asset system
Brand Execution & Enterprise Alignment (20%)
Ensure all visual assets align with established brand standards
Maintain cohesive visual identity across retail, mission, and enterprise environments
Elevate overall visual sophistication and consistency of Ohio Valley Goodwill
Upload and coordinate final files with printers and fabricators
Manage signage and environmental installation timelines
Troubleshoot production issues independently
Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding deadlines and deliverables
PERODICAL DUTIES:
Support large-scale retail store openings and Opportunity Center launches
Contribute to annual campaigns and seasonal promotions
Assist with internal communications visual needs
Maintain brand asset libraries and templates
Support special enterprise initiatives as assigned
WORK HOURS & BENEFITS
This is a full-time salaried position. Standard working hours are Monday–Friday; however, occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support store openings, campaign launches, or special events.
