As a New Development Leasing Manager, you’ll lead the launch and leasing of new developments in up‑and‑coming markets. Your role encompasses strategic brand building, partnership cultivation, and innovative marketing implementation. You’ll oversee a part‑time leasing and marketing team, aligning them with lease‑up objectives and equipping them to drive leasing. Your leadership will guide the team through the sales process and optimize marketing efforts to achieve success. This role demands creativity, multitasking, dynamism, networking skills, and the ability to devise fresh marketing approaches and leasing strategies while managing day‑to‑day operations and year‑one lease‑up complexities. What You Will Do
Direct oversight of the part‑time team, including scheduling, training, and ensuring adherence to Core Spaces standards and objectives. Execute go‑to‑market strategies and leasing plans to promote brand awareness and ensure successful lease‑up of assigned new developments. Culture and partnership cultivation with local businesses, academic institutions and community stakeholders to broaden market reach and drive leasing opportunities. Compile and execute all leasing and marketing reports for the respective community. Collaborate with the new development mission‑control team to execute impactful events and special projects that generate buzz and excitement in the new market. Monitor and evaluate the sales knowledge and touring performance of the part‑time team, providing guidance and support as needed to enhance effectiveness. Assist in overseeing day‑to‑day operations within the temporary leasing space to maintain operational efficiency and excellence. Ensure pre‑leasing compliance, including lease execution, financial requirements, and adherence to company policies to meet milestone eligibility for incentive programs. Accountable for achieving pre‑leasing milestones aligned with company goals, as outlined in the New Development Non‑Discretionary Bonus Agreement. Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management. Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly; this may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday. Ideally, You’ll Have
High School graduate; college degree preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in leasing, real‑estate development, or property management, showcasing a history of successful lease‑ups. Proven experience executing successful go‑to‑market strategies and driving lease‑ups for new development communities in student markets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Windows and/or Apple operating systems. You’ll Crush It If You Have Experience With
A creative edge, adept at driving leasing success through innovative strategies, seamless multitasking, and effective networking while maintaining a strong focus on sales performance. Energetic, imaginative, and enthusiastic, adept at articulating a compelling vision and securing leases effectively. Experience with Entrata and Yardi Software(s). Organizational Structure
