
This position supports the marketing and communications efforts of the Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau (ICVB) by developing high-quality visual assets that promote Irving as a premier destination for leisure travelers, meeting planners, and event organizers. Duties include designing and producing promotional materials for print and digital platforms; creating original artwork, illustrations, signage, and advertising assets; supporting social media, email marketing, website graphics, and event collateral; maintaining brand standards across all communications; managing print production and coordinating with vendors; sourcing photography and design elements; and assisting with copy editing and formatting to ensure clarity and accuracy. Responsibilities also include collaborating with ICVB and Irving Convention Center staff on marketing initiatives, supporting hospitality partners with promotional materials, and staying current with design trends and emerging technologies. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, communications, or a related field, and at least one year of experience in graphic design, desktop publishing, or communications are required. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop required. A résumé must be submitted with the application.

Funded solely by hotel tax collections, the Irving CVB connects corporate, convention and leisure visitors to our hospitality industry partners - the city's hotels, meeting venues, restaurants, attractions and shops, as well as attractions throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The strength of the visitor industry and the city's hotel tax collections also provide the funding resources for the Irving Arts Center and the Preservation and Redevelopment Program.
