
General Purpose:
This position serves as a key driver of growth initiatives across select priority industries, supporting the firm's client development objectives. Industry team marketing is a key component in the firm's strategic priorities. The Industry and Client Growth Manager will work closely with industry teams, helping to identify opportunities, develop targeted initiatives, and execute marketing and business development plans that drive measurable revenue growth.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Planning & Growth Initiatives
Work with industry leadership to develop and execute data-informed marketing and business development plans.
Support the identification and development of new business opportunities and manage pipeline.
Facilitate cross-practice collaboration around emerging industry trends and client needs.
Track KPIs to measure effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Client Development & Relationship Building
Support industry teams in identifying, targeting, and pursuing growth opportunities.
Coordinate regular meetings with industry leaders to share information and drive client development activities.
Develop and maintain industry-specific client materials, pitch decks, and capability presentations.
Contribute to RFP responses and client presentations to support growth opportunities.
Marketing & Content Strategy
Execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote the firm's industry experience and thought leadership.
Partner with industry leads to create issue-driven content including alerts, articles, and social media posts.
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to execute consistent messaging across all materials.
Build and maintain industry-specific marketing materials and website content.
Events & Industry Engagement
Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and conference sponsorships aligned with business development objectives.
Identify speaking opportunities and coach attorneys on compelling presentations.
Maintain relationships with key industry associations and publications.
Manage industry marketing budgets in alignment with firm priorities.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry news and developments to share relevant insights with stakeholders.
Track competitor positioning and market trends to inform decisions.
Provide regular reporting on sector trends and marketing initiative outcomes.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required. MBA or JD preferred.
Five (5) years of experience in industry or client relationship management, business development, marketing, or related field required. Experience in a law firm or professional services industry preferred.
Ability to build strong firm relationships and work collaboratively across the department.
Excellent client service skills required.
Excellent organizational skills required. Able to manage concurrent, significant projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to see both the forest and the trees: strategic thinker with ability to focus on tactics and process.
Able to review and synthesize data
Basic Microsoft Office application skills required, with an interest and aptitude for technology solutions preferred.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.
