Our client, an early-stage AI finance startup, is looking for their first GTM hire - someone who can build pipeline generation systems from scratch and establish their demand engine with finance executives. If you've been in IB or consulting and want to own commercial outcomes instead of just advising on them, this is your shot.
You’ll work directly with founders to turn early product-market fit into a repeatable growth machine. Think: designing outbound motions, building demand gen infrastructure, and creating the playbook that scales from $0 to Series A and beyond.
Abou the Role:
Design and execute outbound campaigns targeting CFOs and finance leaders at high-growth companies
Own the full funnel - from prospect research to first meeting to pipeline progression
Run rapid experiments across channels, messaging, and tactics. Double down on what converts
Growth Infrastructure
Build the demand generation engine from the ground up - content strategy, events, paid channels, partnerships
Shape our market positioning and narrative alongside founders
Establish the systems that scale: CRM architecture, pipeline dashboards, sales playbooks, forecasting models
Support high-value deals with research, competitive analysis, and executive engagement
Become an expert in CFO workflows and the modern finance tech stack
Translate customer conversations into product and strategy insights
About You:
Ex-IB/consulting background
with 2-4+ years at a top firm. You've built financial models, managed client relationships, and delivered under pressure
Ready to build, not advise.
You want to own outcomes and see the direct impact of your work on revenue
Exceptional communicator.
Your emails get responses from busy executives. You can hold your own in C-suite conversations
Systems thinker.
You bring the rigor of consulting to startups - clean processes, data-driven decisions, documented workflows
AI-curious and technical enough
to leverage AI tools daily and understand the product deeply
Startup DNA.
High agency, comfortable with ambiguity, bias to action. You identify what needs doing and make it happen
Qualified candidates submit your confidential resume to Chessa Eskandanian-Yee: chessa@advisorey.com
